It's simply difficult to find my least favourite song because I actually don't like a lot of songs, but on varying degree of course. But so far, the one song which I've been hearing repeatedly on the radio which annoys the crap out of me is The Time by Black Eyed Peas. It's not horrible singing or anything, but oh come one, we all gotta agree that the original song is so much better, non?
After much hesitation, I thought it'd be fun to do a challenge thing for a change. :)
Day 1: Your Favorite Song
Jewel - Goodbye Alice in Wonderland
Took me quite a while to decide on my favourite song, but I first heard this song back in 2006 when I was working in my first job, and it's been a favourite ever since! Muacks!
I'm sure you guys have seen the latest NST adverts all about town. Thought it would be interesting to put in my perspective onto their ads.
Does a professional footballer work? Or play?
I think that's the correct sentence, I hope.
My verdict? His job is to play. There is a reason a footballer is dubbed as "professional". If a person were to play football for fun, he would not be called a professional, even if he is as good or even better than working footballers. He would be dubbed then as a normal football fan/player or an amateur player. A professional footballer does not merely "play" for fun. He has to perform his best at all times. If a person plays for fun, he does not have to make sure his performance is always in tip-top condition, unlike of course, someone who is paid to do it. Lastly, a professional footballer works because there is monetary value involved when he does it. Any normal person who plays this sport just for fun does not get paid, but it is out of self-interest. A professional however, may not necessarily enjoy it although there a certain level of passion must be instilled in him for him to perform well. I'm sure we don't enjoy playing football 24/7 right? I mean you can love it, but wouldn't it sucked if everyday you got up just for one objective? Get my drift?
Only thought of posting this up because we were discussing some form of football in church today. Passed another NST ad on the way back home. And saw some school kids playing football in a school field on the way back. Yep, three times lucky.
Pastor mentioned something of a fact that was incredibly funny today in church. He said: Old people are rich. They have silver hair, gold teeth, a lot gas and they loads of stones. lol. thank god the grannies didn't beat him up for that one haha..
Kamikaze - Rak Chan Riak Waa-Ter (Calling You For Love)
Brown Eyed Girls - L.O.V.E
just some songs to sum up all this rowdy feelings lately.. the question is not whether it is love or not, the question is whether i'm crushing on him.. is it possible to crush on more than one person at once? on an on-off basis? even after you chose to forget him for what he chose?
